CARRY HANDLE TAPE
NRG’s product portfolio is wide. We deliver carry handle tape in various lengths and widths from flat rolls (660 meter) to spooled rolls up to 7000 meter. These are the so-called transparent carry handle tape where the separate handle carton is applied onto the tape via a handle applicator machine.
Furthermore we can offer customized integrated carry handle tape. On this carry handle tape the handle is already laminated onto the tape with the logo or brand of the customer. Our customers decide the design of the handle completely themselves. This handle provides more machine output and looks more attractive. These handles can be offered in paper, film (PP) and soft foam (PE) also in different lengths and widths.
When your packed products have special requirements as refrigerated conditions, heat resistant application or needs high or low adhesion we can offer our special products. We have special films and adhesives available to meet your demands.

BENEFITS OF CARRY HANDLE TAPES
Carry handle tapes are used on (multi)packs to create carrying convenience for consumers. Markets tests proofed that packs with handles have a shorter shelf life compared than packs without handles. Another major benefit is that customers who are using carry handles can decrease the thickness of shrink film which results in significant cost reductions.
The technology:
The applicator machine which is integrated in the production line adds the separate carton insert onto the tape, cuts the handle and applies it on the package before moving further on the conveyor line.

Transparent tape is nowadays still the most used carry handle tape because of cost efficiency however in recent years we have seen an increase of customers switching to integrated/pre-laminated tapes.
TRANSPARENTCARRY HANDLE TAPE
We offer transparent carry handle tape in 660, 5000 and 7000 meter rolls which we named NRG 51H. It consists of a very strong mono oriented polypropylene film and specially designed hotmelt adhesive formula. This creates a strong hold during carrying and high initial tack during application. The carry handle tape can be applied on various substrates. The width is 25mm. Other sizes upon request.
INTEGRATEDCARRY HANDLE TAPE
We produce tailor-made integrated/pre-laminated carry handle tapes where the handle insert is already applied onto the tape.
Length of the handle can vary from 120mm to 400mm and the length of the total handle from 250mm to 900mm. Other specifications upon request. Printing from 1 color to full color.
